This proposal is a research phase of my residency at La Friche on the theme of « Precarious Territories ». It presents a microcosm model composed of a supporting structure, a glass disk, water and sand.

Water and sand are among the two most widely used natural resources. Materials that evoke life, the cycle, the end, but also consumption, construction and destruction.

The sand staircase is an invitation to the imaginary, to a perhaps illusory elsewhere.
