Starry sky

La Rivière des Galets or The Pebble River  is a village on Reunion Island. It has the peculiarity of being shared between two municipalities : Le Port and La Possession.

The river which runs alongside the village has the same name, it marks the border with the town of Saint Paul. Its management is complex because it is divided between several institutions and society, notably for the water, for the natural spaces, for the road which is in the middle of the river as well as the infrastructures (dykes, bridges,…)

The Pebble River in my artistic work is a workshop and a source of raw material, it is also a political space that I try to represent through my experiments.
