To make the Maas River Fly

The project ‘To make the Maas River Fly’ leads Yasmine to redefine her practice and her perception of the River as a living entity in its own right. In touch with her beliefs, she conceives her performances as rituals that are paintings of attitudes metaphorical of the ecology of care. With these unproductive gestures (in the original sense of the word) tinged with poetry and magic, she plunges us into her universe. It was under the terminology « Reminiscent Waves », like a tragedy in 4 acts, that she developed her research to deliver her various stories about water.
